SOMETHING
Hello,
My name is Denis and I am glad you came.
I am a Muscovite who currently lives in Milan. Former lawyer with more than 15 years of professional experience (hopefully not one of those Dickensian characters though) who turned to arts management.
Books and ballet have always been my passions. Both my grandfather and dad were avid book collectors, and shelves full of books were familiar surroundings since my childhood. I have binged-read almost everything, even medical encyclopedias much to the annoyance of my mother.
Time went on. I moved from country to country, from city to city. I bought books on ballet from time to time. Memoirs, monographes, periodicals, even sheet music and klaviers, although I do not play any music instruments. Sporadically and inconsistently.
Now, when I have time and space, I have decided to systematize and organize all the materials and information I have. And I do hope that these findings may be of some interest and use.
I would be happy to answer any questions you may have so, please, do not hesitate and e-mail me:

And I can still totally picture that very moment when I saw a ballet for the first time. I was 6 years old, my granny and mom took me to "Don Quixote" by Minkus\Nureyev. To say that I was mesmerized and captured would be an understatement. My granny still loves to recall that I applauded so hard that I almost fall into orchestra pit:)
